Tap Dance TRAINING and PERFORMANCE opportunities

An inspirational graphic for the Tap Artistry Project with a woman sitting on the floor wearing a white blazer and jeans, smiling. The text highlights the purpose of the project as mastering technique, expressing artistry, and directing passion in art, with the phrase 'Because it's all in the name' at the bottom.

What’s in a name?

When I decided to launch this new venture, the words to describe it and what this collective stands for came naturally. Because it’s all in the name:

T: Mastering TECHNIQUE and honoring TRADITION

A: Expressing ARTISTRY with AUTHENTICITY

P: Directing PASSION to PURPOSE

Tap dance has a rich history and it has evolved into an extraordinary display of rhythm and sound, musicality and artistry, precision and passion.

In all my years as a dancer and teacher, I’ve never seen a tap performance that didn’t light up a stage, generate smiles, or draw cheers from the audience. Sure, tap requires work and dedication from the dancer, but there’s nothing quite like it for pure joy and entertainment.

So I was inspired to start a company solely dedicated to this unique form, to help dancers expand their footprint ~ literally and creatively. Tap dancing creates more versatile dancers, quicker to learn fast footwork, bringing greater precision to each movement, and strengthening their musicality.

This is more than just TAP ~ it's Tradition, Artistry, and Purpose in motion!
